Karma landscape poster design 2

This is my poster for our film, made in Photoshop Elements 8. I used a screen shot from the film for the photo of Sean (Adrian) and took the edited image of Connor (Demon) in the background. I then layered over the 'Karma' title, the tagline, some smoke, and the text at the top.
This poster would be suitable for display on a billboard, in a cinema lobby, or as an online ad.
The desaturated feel along with the dark background of the image, with Connor hiding in the shadows, reflects the overall feel of the film.

Progress Diary - 22/02/13

Last time in our media lesson, I began to start the film poster idea. For this poster I wanted to make sure that it set the scene and mood for the film. I made the poster using photoshop and used the logo and the name from our blog. I managed to finish the poster and uploaded it to the blog while Matty carried on editing. We also spoke about how we will need to film more scenes that we left out as we found out that our film at the moment is only around two minuits. We then decided to add the reverse scene and more scenes when Sean has the flashback.

Progress Diary - 22/02/2013

In the last couple of weeks, we've almost finished filming. We did our second shooting scene, and thought we'd done. However it appears that our film is considerably shorter than the five minute target. Whilst we were filming, we left some scenes out, due to believing our film would end up been too long. These scenes will be filmed, and added back into the film next week.

Today, we've been making posters for our film, and the one Kieran made seemed to be good enough to use, do I decided to make a billboard promotional poster instead, which is designed as a teaser for the audience our film would be aimed at.

After we finish filming next week, the editing can be completed, and our job will almost be complete!

Karma Poster Idea

This is my poster idea for our film. I created the poster in Photoshop and used the logo and the title from our blog. I also included a quote from the movie and added the people involved in the production at the bottom of the poster using the font Steel Tongs.

Billboard Teaser Poster

This is my billboard teaser poster for our film. 'Spare some change' is a quote from the film, but also gives away a bit of the plot line, as the film is about change.

The quote below the tagline gives an opinion on karma, and underlines the word. This makes it stand out, to give away what the title of the film is.

The poster also includes the URL of the blog, and our Untitled Productions logo.

Progress Diary - Kieran Charlesworth

In the last lesson, we managed to get most of the filming done. This was the scene in the car park where Sean is confronted by Connor. We had to wait until it was dark enough to film meaning we had to film after the lesson.
Overall we captured around 20 minutes of footage meaning we had to choose the best shots to cut it down as we had a lot of out takes and errors. We are now going to edit the footage to see if we need to film anymore scenes as Connor is away this week and as he one of the main character we can't film any scenes with him involved.

Progress Diary (2) Sean Martin

We have filmed almost all of our film, we are currently editing it whilst the last pieces of filming are being thought out. We have imported out film into Final Cut Pro to be editied and enhanced.

Over 20 minutes of footage has been captured and we are currently in the process of trimming certain scenes down or completely out to make up the 5 minute goal we need to reach.

Filming Diary - 01/02/2013

On our second day of filming, we got through quite a lot, and spent around two hours on the set! We gained access to an undercover car park near college, and used the areas of it wisely, to ensure we kept continuity. This meant that we had to make sure that the car was parked in the same space if we filmed again and the bins. The photographs below show us on the set.
